One Blessing at a Time takes place in the winter of all four characters sophomore year of high school. This is a mystery romance series, however this book mainly sets the back story for the other books. I would 7/10 recommend this book to any fans of Leslea Wahl or a good mystery romance series.

While helping at a summer camp, four friends discover an old tale of murder and forbidden love which leads to a modern-day treasure hunt.

Ryan’s invitation to his girlfriend Josie, his cousin Sophie, and Sophie’s boyfriend Jake to help at a summer camp for disadvantaged youth, seems like a wonderful opportunity for the two couples to get to know each other while sharing Christ’s love with others. But when they uncover a mystery at the camp, their summer adventure becomes a week of intrigue.

This book takes place at a camp and follows the mystery of digging up an old love story. The two couples Jake and Sophie, and Ryan and Josie, learn more about each other and this mysterious couples sweet love story. I would 9/10 recommend this book to lovers to mysteries and Leslea Wahl.

Unlikely Witnesses by Leslea Wahl takes place the summer before senior year. I loved Unlikely Witnesses the mystery was thrilling and kept me on the edge of my seat. The romance between each of the couple's was so sweet. As well as, the wonderful friendship between all four of them. Their care and desire to help others was present throughout the entire book. I would 10/10 recommend this book to all romance and mystery lovers!

Brief kisses. The bad guys are armed and threaten two of the teens, however nothing happens. Two teens ambush criminals knocking them down in order to save friends. Ryan and Sophie friendly prank each other.

I would 8/10 recommend this book to lovers of a good mystery, romance, or Leslea Wahl.
