The Hope Springs Book Series by Valerie Bodden is a charming small town Christian romance series including ten books. They are all clean but definitely targeted towards older teens and a young adult/adult audience because of the character's ages. I would definitely recommend all these books for anyone who loves contemporary romance books!

Book 1: Not Until Forever (Sophie and Spencer)

Five years ago, Spencer offered Sophie forever. But she turned down his proposal and moved away to pursue her career. Sure, he still wishes things had turned out differently, but time and distance have eased the ache. He’s plenty content with his life managing the family cherry orchard in the small town of Hope Springs, where he never has to worry about running into her.

Sophie knows returning to Hope Springs to visit her dying grandmother is a risk. For one thing, her family is a mess. And for another, Spencer lives there. But how can she let Nana go without saying goodbye? Besides, she’ll be in and out of town so fast, she’ll never even see Spencer.

So much for the best laid plans. When Sophie not only runs into Spencer at the hospital but bursts into tears right there in front of him, she’s unprepared for the way he is there for her. And for the old feelings he stirs up. Feelings that make her question the decision she made five years ago.

For his part, Spencer knows he should guard his heart. But the more time he spends with Sophie, the more he senses there’s something different about her now. Something that makes him think maybe God is giving them a second chance at forever…

Book 2: Not Until This Moment (Jared and Peyton)

Peyton thought she had finally met “the one” when she started dating Jared. Now, she’s just trying to survive the annual ski trip with her bones—and her heart—intact. And maybe meet someone new…

Jared wishes he could give Peyton everything she desires. But secrets from his past mean that marriage is the one thing he can never offer her. Not that it makes it easy to let her go. Especially when everywhere he turns on this ski trip, he sees her with another man—a man Jared knows can’t be trusted.

Jared may not have any business worrying about Peyton anymore. But he’s not about to let anything happen to the woman he still loves. When a crisis rocks the trip, both have to reexamine what they want. Are their hopes for the future still too different, or can they trust that God has a plan for them?

Three years after her husband’s death, Violet spends her days working to keep their antique store—and his memory—alive. Her friends say it’s time to move on, but she’s not sure she wants to. Book 4: Not Until Us (Dan and Jade)

When Jade agrees to return to Hope Springs for the summer, it’s with the hope that she might finally be able to escape her reputation. The list of mistakes she’s made would stretch all the way from Hope Springs to California and back. And at the top of the list: leaving town without so much as a word of explanation to Dan, the only man she’s ever truly loved. It was for his own good, but that doesn’t mean he’s any more likely to forgive her.

The moment Jade comes waltzing back into town, Dan knows he needs to be careful. Newly appointed as head pastor of Hope Church to replace his retired father, he is under pressure to prove he’s up to the task. Dating the town’s former bad girl wouldn’t exactly make the best impression. And anyway, he doesn’t relish the thought of getting his heart broken by her again. But hard as he tries, Dan can’t deny that he still has feelings for her—and they’re growing stronger by the day.

When Jade learns a secret that could destroy both of their reputations, her first instinct is to push Dan away again. But this time, he has to be the one to decide: let her walk away, or trust God to give them a second chance?

Book 5: Not Until Christmas Morning (Leah and Austen)

Leah has been waiting months for the call saying she’s been selected as a foster mother. But from the moment she meets her troubled foster son, he wants nothing to do with her. For some reason, he’d rather spend time with Leah’s grumpy new neighbor, Austin. Leah would prefer to keep her distance from the man, but if spending time with him is the price she has to pay to connect with her son, she’ll do it. And maybe she’ll try to convince Austin that Christmas is worth celebrating while she’s at it.

For Austin, Hope Springs is just a stopping point as he rehabilitates his leg and prepares to redeploy overseas. He has no desire to get to know anyone while he’s here—least of all the woman next door, who seems to have made it her personal mission to smother him with Christmas cheer. When she somehow manages to rope him into helping her make the holiday special for her foster son, Austin can’t deny that spending time with her is healing the broken parts inside of him.

But when he receives news that shatters his world all over again, will he push her away? Or embrace the gift God has given them this Christmas—each other?

Book 6: Not Until This Day (Tyler and Isabel)

Isabel has three simple rules: Keep moving. No friends. No men. And she’s determined to follow those rules, even if the small town of Hope Springs makes her want to put down roots. Following the rules is the only way to keep her daughter safe. Besides, her boss’s brother, Tyler, has made it more than clear that she’s not welcome here.

Tyler has one goal: Keep his boys from ever getting hurt again. That’s why he avoids dating, women, or anything having to do with love. And it’s also why he distrusts the mysterious single mother he finds sleeping in a car at the town marina, especially when she manages to wrangle a job at his family’s cherry orchard. Tyler doesn’t know what she’s got up her sleeve, but he’s determined to a keep a close eye on her. Only, the closer he looks, the more his suspicion changes to admiration.

But when Isabel’s past comes to light, will they give in to the fear and pain of the past—or will they trust God not only for this day…but for their future?

Book 7: Not Until Someday ( Grace and Levi)

After a career-ending injury, the last place quarterback Levi Donovan wants to be is his hometown of Hope Springs. But his dad needs help with the family construction company, and Levi needs some time to figure out what to do next. When he meets Grace Calvano his first day back in town, things seem to be looking up.

Until she flat-out turns down his offer of a date. And then he arrives at the bed-and-breakfast he’s supposed to help renovate…only to find that she’s the owner.

The moment she opens the door to find Levi on the other side, Grace is sure of one thing—she and God must have gotten their wires crossed when she asked him to send Mr. Right to her doorstep. Because the motorcycle-riding, football-playing bad boy is the very definition of Mr. Wrong.

But as she gets to know him, Grace can’t deny that Levi defies her expectations. And when he offers to serve as her fake boyfriend for her brother’s wedding in Tennessee, she can’t exactly pass up the offer. It’s either that or her mama will have her married off to the new youth pastor before she can blink.

The only trouble is this fake relationship is starting to feel a little too real. Should Grace back away before she gets hurt? Or did God bring Mr. Right to her doorstep after all?

Book 8: Not Until Now (Cam and Kayla)

Fifteen years after his sister tore his family apart, Cam finally has everything he thinks he wants. So he doesn’t appreciate the call from a complete stranger informing him that he needs to drop everything and fly to Hope Springs to care for the niece he didn’t even know he had. And yet, somehow he can’t say no. He’ll go to Hope Springs, make alternate arrangements for the girl, and get back to his real, nearly perfect life.

At least that’s the plan. Until he meets Kayla.

Kayla knows she should leave well enough alone once Cam arrives to take care of the little girl she rescued from a car accident. He’s made it clear that he doesn’t want her help caring for the girl—but she can tell he needs it. Besides, she’s already made a connection with the girl that she can’t deny. She’ll just have to be careful not to get too close—she’s worked too hard to regain her independence after her spinal cord injury to sacrifice it for anyone.

But the more time Kayla spends with the two of them, the more she wonders whether being independent really means closing yourself off to others. And the longer Cam spends in Hope Springs, the more he questions what the perfect life really means. Can they both let go of what they thought they wanted and let God give them the love they truly need?

Book 9: Not Until Then (James and Bethany)

After surviving a brain aneurysm that left her with short-term memory problems, Bethany is happy to simply get through each day without forgetting to pack her daughter a lunch. She’s been a single mom since Ruby was born, and that’s the way she likes it. She’s found family in the large group of friends who have welcomed her in Hope Springs, and she doesn’t need a special someone. Especially not one as grumpy as James.

James already had a family once—and lost everything. So when he goes to Hope Springs to visit his sister, he has no interest in letting her play matchmaker. Even if her beautiful—though forgetful—friend Bethany intrigues him. But Bethany has a daughter—and even if James were willing to risk his heart on a woman again, he would never risk it on another child.

Between his sister’s schemes and her daughter’s needs, it seems James and Bethany just can’t avoid each other. And the more time they spend together, the more they both start to long for more. But when a tragedy looms, they have to decide if love is worth the risk—or if they’d be better off forgetting they’d ever met.

Book 10: Not Until The End ( Emma and Owen)

Before Owen lost his wife to cancer, he promised her that he’d find someone new to love someday. It’s a promise he never plans to keep. He’s busy enough trying to get his new skydiving center in Hope Springs up and running, not to mention raising his five kids. He doesn’t have time for love. And even if he did, how would he ever find someone who could measure up to the love he lost?

Though she used to long for a large family, Emma has to admit that it doesn’t look like that’s in the Lord’s plans for her. After all, she’s 42 and has never been in love. Besides, after surviving cancer, she has other priorities now. Like checking things off her Life List. And serving the Lord with each moment he gives her. So when Owen and his children move in next door, it’s only natural that she wants to be a good neighbor to them. A good neighbor—and nothing more.

But when being a good neighbor turns into helping Owen’s family pick up the pieces after another heartbreaking loss, neither can deny that their feelings are becoming more than neighborly. But is Owen ready to open his heart again? And can Emma admit that maybe God has put a family in her future after all?
